I was introduced to 36 Crazyfists back in the mid-90s and fell in love with the vocal delivery and style of their front man and the impactful way he went from singing to screaming to get his message across.

The track “Bloodwork” put me on my ass the first time I heard it, and I promised myself that one way or another, I would cover it one day. The lyrics hit pretty close to home at the time, as I had been dealing with things in an irrational way, and needed to get a grip in order to not end up regretting it in the future. I would only have myself to blame.

And I’ve inherited my health

They all seemed so truthful
They all seemed so true

Couldn’t find a better way – to lie…

I am pretty happy with how everything turned out on this one. The verses kept the same creepy feel as the original, and I feel like I have come a long way (as far as production is concerned) with the recording and mixing of my screams into a track. Enjoy.
